My Sister's Room

31' 2025
dir.: Pauline Doméjean

A portrait of a teenager in depression, filmed by her sister, who has not left her room for weeks.

Another film from the IDFA festival's short film competition in our set. The titular character has not left her room for weeks. Receiving friends in bed, she can sometimes show some enthusiasm, but most of the time she just lies in bed. Seemingly nothing special is happening here - until we realize that this simple, unpretentious documentary is essentially about depression.
