The Human Rights Knowledge Competition, organized by the Rzeszów University of Technology in cooperation with the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Education Authority, is part of the Podkarpackie Model of Education for Youth Safety. It is very popular with students every year, with over 7,000 participants across all editions.
The goal of the Human Rights Knowledge Competition is to popularize human rights issues among young people. The competition also serves as a form of education and raises awareness of national, social, and legal issues among young people. It fosters respect for human rights and highlights cases of their violations. It also aims to promote culture and motivate people to respect human rights.
The 18th Competition will take place on November 7, 2025, at 9:00 AM on the Testportal platform.
The competition is open to high school students. Applications and the selection of participants are submitted by the school, whose representatives should first complete the online form and then complete the required documents specified in the Human Rights Knowledge Competition Rules.
Competition winners will receive valuable prizes worth PLN 5,000. The awards ceremony will take place during the 23rd WATCH DOCS Traveling Film Festival on November 20, held at the WSPiA.
