Meanwhile, investigative journalism is supposed to be a pillar of democracy and a check on government power. Why don't the secrets of those in power, discovered by the media, resonate in society today as we would like?

Year after year, the list of obstacles and threats faced by investigative journalists grows - propaganda, disinformation, big-tech. How can they win in this unequal fight with the system?
