The Władysław Ślesicki Film Foundation, together with its Partners, invites you to the DOCUMENTARIANS’ PARTY!

We’ll be partying in a beachy, tropical vibe. Behind the DJ booth will be CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN — the founder and president of the Foundation, Adam Ślesicki.

We’re turning a December night into a tropical paradise full of joyful rhythms!

Music, drinks, and a unique atmosphere at the BARdzo bardzo club.

The event is organized by the Władysław Ślesicki Film Foundation, whose main mission is to support Polish documentary cinema and young, debuting filmmakers, as well as to organize workshops and produce films. The Foundation’s initiatives include DOC LAB POLAND, the largest program for professional documentarians in Poland, combining in-depth project consultations with presentations for co-producers, distributors, sales agents, and the CEDOC MARKET — the only international co-production market in Poland. Another program, DOC DEVELOPMENT, is aimed at directors with documentary projects at an early stage of development who are seeking producers. In turn, FIRST FILM focuses on young filmmakers — adult high school students and university students — who, under the guidance of outstanding filmmakers, create their first documentary shorts based on their own ideas. Another important initiative is the DOC HOT SELECTION film series — cinema screenings of the latest Polish documentary films accompanied by author-led discussions.

From the very beginning, the Foundation has cared about integrating the documentary community, also beyond cinema and workshop spaces — and this is how the idea of the annual Documentarians’ Party was born. It’s a chance, in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, to exchange opinions, talk about important and less important matters, and then dance until morning. Documentarians are open to the world — that’s why we don’t limit this party to industry insiders. Anyone can come, join the filmmakers, and have a great time!
