International conventions guarantee all people the right to a decent life, including the right to food. Just what does this actually mean? Is there a difference between sustenance and good food? Should good food be tasty, or is it enough that it is nutritious? To what extent do our food tastes have to change by choice, so that we don't have to change them by necessity?
