Dr. Magdalena Pycińska is a postdoctoral research assistant at the Institute of Near and Far East Studies at the Jagiellonian University. She completed the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Studies at the Faculty of International and Political Studies, defending her thesis at the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Liberal Arts. She is a member of the Closer to Asia Association (CTA). She focuses on contemporary national discourses in the Middle East, particularly Palestinian discourses, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and social transformations in Muslim societies.
