NATURA W CENTRUM outdoor cinema – films from the WATCH DOCS festival on the facade of the Museum of Modern Art

Every Wednesday in August, we invite you to film screenings from the WATCH DOCS repertoire on the facade of the MSN. Together, we will explore the relationship between humans and nature – both the familiar, everyday nature and the wildlife that remains distant. Each screening will be preceded by an introductory event that will provide context for the stories shown.

The presented selection of films shows the natural environment as a space of creative tension between humans and the world – from the everyday closeness of plants, animals and ecosystems in Nature is my homeland, through the mysterious world of bats in the film Night Visitors, to the monumental landscapes of Antarctica in the film Antarctica Calling and the ocean depths, which are the setting for human dreams of interspecies communication in Patrick and the Whale. Each of these films raises questions about the limits of human understanding of nature and how we redefine our place in it as coexisting species in a fragile world of interdependence.

Natura w Centrum shows different perspectives on the relationship between humans and the surrounding world – from deep intimacy to the distance of a researcher and traveller.

Admission: free thanks to E.ON Polska

Venue: Forum at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw

In case of inclement weather, the screening will be moved to KINOMUZEUM.
