CHILD OF DUST - special screening + talk on the 5th of March!

Audience Award Winner and Winner of the New Polish Films Competition, Child of Dust, directed by Weronika Mliczewska, will be screened on March 5 at 6:00 PM at KINOMUZEUM at the Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej w Warszawie.

The film tells the story of 50-year-old Sang, the son of a Vietnamese woman and an American soldier, who grew up without his parents and spent his entire life dreaming of finding his father. When fate gives him a chance, the price turns out to be high — he must choose between a new life in the United States and his family in Vietnam.

We invite you to a special screening followed by a discussion featuring the film’s director, Weronika Mliczewska, and Ton Van Anh, a Polish-Vietnamese journalist, translator, writer, educator, and activist for democracy and human rights. The meeting will be moderated by Łukasz Mańkowski, film scholar, Japanologist, film critic, and programmer of the Five Flavours Film Festival.

[AD] The film will be presented with audio description available via the Kino Dostępne 2.0 app.
