In this electrifying documentary thriller, an Australian war correspondent in Afghanistan wins the trust of the Taliban, who are unaware of his true gender identity.

In a story that could easily serve as a screenplay for an edge-of-your-seat feature thriller, Australian correspondent Jordan Bryon, who covered the Afghanistan war for years, including for the New York Times, witnesses the Taliban's seizure of power after the American withdrawal. He gets to know numerous Taliban personally when visiting conflict zones. As the country initiates its political transformation following Sharia law, Jordan resolves a long-postponed decision and opts to undergo his transition – Jordan was assigned as female at birth. The predicament of foreigners in Afghanistan is escalating in complexity, while simultaneously, Jordan grapples ever more strenuously with the intensifying surge of pressures. When an acquaintance who is a warlord invites him to visit a Taliban base in the province, the tension hits a high point.
