The WATCH DOCS Festival in Elbląg will open with a meeting ‘Contemporary crises and their image in the media’, whose guest will be Łukasz Głowal. 

The meeting will be followed by film screenings:
- ‘The Wall’, directed by Kasia Smutniak
- ‘Following Valeria’, directed by Nicola Fegg
- ‘What If The War Ends Tomorrow’ directed by Martyna Wojciechowska and Hanna Jewsiewicka

Łukasz Głowala - freelance photographer cooperting with Reuters. Previously associated with, among others, Gazeta Wyborcza and the Polish Photographic Agency FORUM. Member of the Testigo Documentary collective. Winner of many prestigious awards and distinctions in press photography competitions, including the Grand Press Photo, the Polish Press Photography Contest or the BZWBK Press Photo. Graduated from the Cinematography Department at the National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź.
