Save the date. The complete program of this year's WATCH DOCS Human Rights in Film festival has been released on the festival’s webpage. It includes 52 films and a stage play by Moscow's Teatr.doc.

The program features the permanent Competition Section with 11 films, I Want to See and the familiar Discreet Charm of Propaganda. There are also New Polish films and Shorts sections. In addition, there will be thematic retrospectives about important and current topics: Just Plain Extremism and Who's Afraid of the Rainbow?.

WATCH DOCS 2019 also features the best documentaries from Scandinavia (Cool Eye Section), films about human rights defenders in Russia and a retrospective of films by this year's Festival Award winner. Marek Nowicki from the Field of Vision collective.

In addition to film screenings, the WATCH DOCS festival also offers a whole range of special events: discussions, debates and Q&A's with guests.

Tickets for all shows are free, but they must be picked up at the cinema box office in advance. The festival will take place in three cinemas: Kinoteka (Palace of Culture), Kino Muranow and the Center for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle. Detailed information is available here.
