1939. An American Nazi rally in New York.
Curry's film, which was put together from several archival takes, creates the impression of a retro-futuristic work of science fiction that describes the world after the global triumph of the Third Reich. And yet what we see on-screen really happened: in 1939, a few months before the outbreak of war, a rally of American Nazis took place in New York's Madison Square Garden that was attended by more than 20,000 people.
