is a documentary maker, film critic and lecturer, festival programmer. Born in Croatia, lived in Sarajevo, now lives in The Netherlands. Program advisor of IFFR, HBFund selection committee member, selection committee member of IDFA. Head of the documentary competition at Sarajevo FF and co-head of the Docu Rough Cut Boutique. Was employed at the Master of the Dutch film Academy Amsterdam and lectured at University of Amsterdam at Film and Media studies. Artistic director of the Eastern Neighbours FF in The Hague. In her birth town, together with friends, she started Bjelovar DokuArt. Mentor at documentary workshops in Europe and Asia, such as Baltic Sea Forum, Doc Lisboa, Ex Oriente, Dragon Forum, Balkan DC, DunaDoc, Doc Edge Kolkata, DocWok New Delhi. Collaborated on several books on film. After completing several Bosnian documentaries before the 1990s, she moved to the Netherlands and directed: “Room Without a View” (1997), “Soske” (2001), “In Whitest Solitude” (2001), “Way to School” (2007). Her films and video installations were exhibited at more than 60 festivals, archived at MoMA, New York, and won several awards. She lived in India and guest-lectured at Srishti Bangalore. She writes for several film magazines.
